When you feel like quitting, that’s an #opportunity to keep going. When you feel like giving up, you have it in you to step forward with renewed #energy and to give more.

Giving up doesn’t accomplish anything, and it doesn’t make you feel any better. It just leaves you with disappointment and regret.

There is no need to worry or strive. For you are able to intend and allow.

Life With Cancer

I thought today I would post a few words from my wonderful wife as she goes through breast cancer. She's such a strong person and an inspiration!

From Cindy:

A week of healing has also lead to a week of emotions.  With my hair totally gone, and my surgery sites healing nicely why are my emotions on steroids?  I believe it’s because watching my loved ones cope with my cancer treatments is just as hard as the treatments themselves. Although I feel better physically this week, I cannot say that is true for emotional health.  As many others have experienced, having a cancer diagnosis has not only affected me, but my family and friends. I am learning firsthand how the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by cancer and the treatments become as overwhelming for others in my life as they are for me.

First, let’s address emotions.  The eight basic emotions are fear, anger, sadness, joy, disgust, trust, anticipation and surprise. I find myself experiencing all eight emotions within a fifteen minute span. Is that possible?Fortunately my friends and family are fast learners and when the tears start, they hang on!  A hug usually cures all and the moment passes.

Second, are expectations?  I have learned that people want to help but they don’t know what I need or how to ask me. When I am direct and explicit about what I need and avoid making assumptions it helps us all. The problem is —Sometimes I don’t know what I need.

Last, are the lifestyle changes? WOW what a change.  I used to be able to multi-task many things throughout my day.  Work, exercise, laundry, housework and social time.  These days it and takes me till noon just to get moving. BUT, I love staying involved in social activities and maintaining contact with my friends and family so I appreciate the messages, emails, walks and texts.

As we enter another week chemo and the after affects, I know I may have some physical limitations and we may have to adjust to our activities, but don’t be afraid to continue pushing me because I love it and if I have to cancel due to being physically or emotionally tired, I will tell you.

Next week, 11/13/2014, will be the last chemo treatment, number 4 and done! And then it's a 2-3 week hiatus while we wait for results of the chemo then 6 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week. I'm getting there and there's a lot to go but your prayers and support have helped so much and I thank you for that and follow me at: The Coaches Perspective

I pondered this quote as I sat with my wife going through her first chemotherapy treatment. As I watched her, she seemed to just go through it in a more relaxed manner as the treatment progressed. In fact she conducted our business right from her laptop from her chair. Amazing but your thoughts, passions, skills, interests and abilities are yours so that you can make use of them. The miracle of life is yours so that you can experience it fully.

The possibilities are here because you will find so many fulfillments in bringing them to life. The challenges are here because you can lift all of life by working through them. And she did that very admirable and I can do nothing but just admire her and feel so lucky to have her!!

There is hope because you are able to feel it. There is love because you are able to give it.

I guess the moral here is to realize how vital it is for you to appreciate how precious and full of promise it all is. Resolve again to live life’s great and limitless promise one unique moment at a time.

Feel the richness of life as it exists right now. Step forward, with a joy that goes beyond understanding, and fulfill the promise. And help those you can when you can!

Thank You All For Your Support!!

I would like to fill you all in on +Cindy SheridanMurphy  and how things are going. First of all AGAIN I can’t thank you all enough for your well wishes and prayers, as the good Irish man that I am and a firm believer in the power of prayer. Just to be where we are today your prayers have carried Cindy and I can’t thank you enough from Ashley, Tyler and myself.

It is her tough spirit and strength that has persevered to this point. We are still waiting for the medical call from the +Doctor and +pathology. They, pathology, make the call from here on in and early next week has been what we were told by her doctor. She had a good day and the flowers and cards have been an enormous spirit boost for her.

If you would all be so kind as to let people know about murphsmagic.net and my fund raising efforts for “Run for Cindy”. Yes I am actually going to run 13.1 miles!! At The +Hartford 1/2 Marathon It was something her & I kicked around about doing in June, kind of her “Coach to 5K” juuuuust a little longer, but now I have a HUGE goal to make it happen and run for my Girl!!

Murphs Magic - RUN for Cindy

Many of you know my wife
as Coach.  She has passionately been empowering men and women to overcome
life's barriers.  She has started a 5K walking/running group which she
affectionately named Murph's Magic.  Her first group consisted of first
timers who never imagined that they could complete a 5k.  Well, they did
with Cindy's support.  In June, Murph's Magic began a training schedule to
take part in the Hartford Half Marathon on October
11th.  Unfortunately on June
29th, Cindy found a lump bigger than a golf ball on her right
breast.  Within two days and several scans later, Cindy, my wife and
founder of Weight Won Dynamics and Murphs's Magic, has breast cancer.  She
has to undergo several surgeries during the month of August in order to be cancer
free.  So, on October 11th, I
will be dedicating my run at the Hartford Half in honor of Cindy - Murph's Magic Run for Cindy to keep her
dream of Murph's Magic going strong.

    
We need your help!  Cindy is an amazing, caring person who is always there
for anyone who needs her love and support.  She will be unable to work for
several months while recuperating.  We are asking our friends and family
to support her financially as she undergoes these surgeries.  Your
donation will help defray some of the financial burden during this difficult

Murphs Magic!! Getting closer to the RUN!!

As many of you know, my wonderful and gorgeous wife Cindy found a lump bigger then a golf ball in her right breast. We learned within 2 days that the Founder of Weight Won Dynamics & Murphs Magic has breast cancer. Just a few weeks before we were both so excited about training for the Hartford 1/2 Marathon. Along with many, we had our training schedules ready. Murph's Magic is still going to run but now I will dedicate my run to Murphs Magic –RUN for CINDY. Cindy is an amazing, caring person who is always there for anyone that needs her love and support.
In a somewhat crazy spin to all this, we had just discussed the week before all this happened that we were down to out last couple of payments on her lumpectomy 5 years early and low and behold it comes back again.
Not to be deterred Cindy is a tough and spiritual woman and will not let this get her down, in fact she has been running every day in our training schedule for the Hartford 1/2 regardless and plans on being able to do the 5K that day!! 10/11/2014.
Financially, it's going to be a tough road to travel but with the support from all of you, as she undergoes these surgeries, we can keep her dream of Murphs Magic going strong. Willingness to Learn

Can you imagine traveling 3,000 miles across an ocean in the bottom of a cattle ship to a strange land you have never been to, HOPING for to improve your life?? What did he leave? A 2 room rented "cottage" that had a dirt floor, no plumbing, no cars, nor phones and 7 people living in it.

That was the situation in 1949 when my father and other Irish, Italian, French, Polish and many, many other immigrants from lands devastated by World War II, who came to America to take advantage of this great land and what it had to offer those who were willing to work and become citizens.  
I tend to complain on occasion, as I'm sure we all do, but STOP when I think of what my father endured to improve on his life, and when he had a family, create an environment where we did not have to live in a 2 room "cottage' with dirt floors and no plumbing, etc., you get the picture.
So it was with great pleasure and thankfulness that when I discovered an opportunity that would put me in a situation that I could improve on my fathers hopes and dreams that it all made sense to me. Even though my journey was not across an unknown ocean in the bottle of a cattle boat, it was more of a mental journey that awoke me to the opportunities that are still available and to a degree more opportunities.
The Great American Dream is not dead it's alive and well and for this writer/blogger I discovered it with Market America/SHOP.COM!!

Just ready to quit this morning in a basic online training to familiarize myself with Google Analytic and I read the following email from some one that constantly does things that inspire me to: 

                  Keep pushing forward

Well needless to say, I didn't quit and I actually got it done. That inspiration?, my wife, who has a way of looking at things a bit differently than I but manages to juggle all the things she does and get's it done.

Creating the Economy of the Future

In this day and age of bankruptcies and bailouts, what is the current economy? Get and education, get a good job, work hard, and hopefully be able to retire at some point in the future and live the good life. Somewhere along the way, achieve your hopes and dreams and establish yourself and your family possibly? However, how real is this? For most people they fail miserably at these goals and fail at achieving these things for themselves.

What is the Economy of the Future?

First, it would be one structured around the idea that these goals would be realistically achievable for the average person. Rather than having their income capped by someone else's determination of their worth, or someone else's artificial evaluation of what their “time” is worth, instead, in the economy of the future, an individual's income is unlimited and is only “capped” by their own desire, their own willingness to do what it takes to make the income they want to achieve for the goals they've set out for themselves.

The Economy is Changing!!

Is Social Media a fad OR the biggest shift since the Industrial Revolution??  It's not a FAD it's a shift in the way we communicate. We all use Social media in one form or another, and you know, it's just a matter of time before a great new Social Media Platform emerges and is monetized for the online consumer of digital content. So where do you stand on Social media, or just afraid you just don't understand it. Which if you don't ASK questions, you will never know. And as Napoleon Hill said, in his forever best seller, "Think & Grow Rich"  "Intelligent person will at least ask some questions".

The choice is yours and I for one, have made that change and now enjoy the fruits of my labor. If Facebook can add 100 million users in 9 months, I can apply just 5 easy steps, find 10-12 customers and 2 Business partners, that was my thoughts and working with a proven Business Plan, made it happen. I now have a "Shopping Annuity" to help people Get paid To Shop and using Social media, such as my Google + Blogger, has helped me build a wonderful business and given me the ability help people. And that's what it's really about, helping people.
